What is Condensate Piping? Condensate piping is the system of pipes designed to gather and carry condensate (water) from air conditioning, refrigeration, and HVAC systems to a drainage or disposal location.

Typically, the HVAC industry employs two materials for condensate piping: CPVC and PVC. These materials are chosen due to their cost-effectiveness, ease of installation, and widespread availability in the market.

• PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride): Commonly used for condensate piping due to its corrosion resistance, durability, and ease of installation.
• CPVC (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride): Ideal for high-temperature condensate piping applications.
