What is a Gate Valve in HVAC?

In HVAC systems, a gate valve is designed mainly for isolating or completely halting the flow of fluids (water or air) within a pipeline, rather than for fine flow control.

Function: Gate valves function by raising or lowering a wedge-shaped gate, allowing for either a fully open or fully closed flow path, ensuring a tight seal when shut.
